Job summary

Robroy Industries in Gilmer, TX is seeking a Maintenance Leader to oversee maintenance across production equipment and facility systems. The role leads a team, plans preventive/predictive maintenance, and drives reliability improvements while aligning with safety and OSHA standards.

You will manage budgets, spare parts, and vendor relationships, coordinate with production, and mentor technicians to reduce downtime and improve KPI performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Experience managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Experience with CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and manufacturing best practices.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and support personnel.
  • Plan, prioritize, and oversee all preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime through effective maintenance planning and execution.
  • Develop and monitor maintenance KPIs including downtime, PM compliance, response times, and maintenance costs.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventories, spare parts, and vendor relationships.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental standards, and company safety policies.
  • Lead root cause analysis efforts and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
  • Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, work orders, and equipment records within the CMMS.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Description
