Nesco Resource seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at our Fayetteville, TN facility. This leadership role directs preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and budgets to maximize equipment uptime and safety.

You will mentor maintenance supervisors, coordinate with operations, and drive continuous improvement using lean manufacturing concepts, robotics support, and CAD/CAM tooling as needed. This is a direct-hire role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong background in industrial/manufacturing maintenance leadership.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, downtime reduction, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and cost-control skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and equipment documentation.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, and/or welding processes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with plant leadership, production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Responsabilités

  • Lead and oversee all plant maintenance activities, ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
  • Direct, coordinate, and prioritize daily maintenance activities, projects, and staffing requirements.
  • Develop and manage Preventive Maintenance (PM) and asset-care programs to improve equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Analyze equipment downtime, recurring failures, and maintenance issues to identify root causes and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Partner with Operations and other departments to improve equipment performance, production efficiency, and overall plant results.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and develop maintenance supervisors and technicians while establishing clear expectations and accountability.
  • Manage maintenance staffing, schedules, workload, performance evaluations, and departmental objectives.
  • Develop project plans, obtain bids, review proposals, and oversee outside contractors and service providers.
  • Manage the maintenance department budget, approve expenses, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Manage spare-parts inventory, purchasing, and equipment/supply needs.
  • Support equipment installations, modifications, improvement projects, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Read and interpret mechanical/electrical blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Support robotics and automated production equipment, including training maintenance personnel on robot operation and improvement activities.
  • Utilize or work with CAD/CAM and 2D/3D design systems as needed.
  • Support welding process improvements and maintain appropriate welding conditions to promote quality and consistency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, project, expense, and equipment records.
  • Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance, review work instructions and progress, and recommend improvements when needed.
  • Support administrative and IT-related activities associated with plant operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, equipment performance, and overall departmental efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function for a manufacturing operation in Fayetteville, TN. This is a key leadership position responsible for the overall direction of plant maintenance, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, projects, budgets, and maintenance personnel.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven maintenance leader with experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment who understands how to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, develop maintenance teams, and support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Technology & Systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, along with experience using ERP and/or maintenance management systems.
