Job Description

• Promote safety as the most important value in the organization by contributing through training, process improvements, management of change (MOC) and other EHS responsibilities.
• Ensure effective communication of maintenance activities at shift hand-off and DDS meetings.
• Duracell Work Systems Ownership - Planning and Scheduling and Breakdown Analysis, support other systems as needed.
• Work closely with Line Leaders and Maintenance System Leaders to identify loss, corrective action plans and track success through output measures.
• Oversee equipment repair and improvement projects, help ensure that work is done proper and safely completed.
• Monitor and report technical skill and proficiency of employees and establish and maintain expectations and development programs for individual improvements.
• Responsible for the overall 5S and organization of production line maintenance areas.
• Provide timely feedback and proactively communicate with management when machine or procedural issues are identified.
• Ensure that all manual and computer-based recordkeeping is maintained accurately and complete.
• Provide direct "hands on" assistance to technicians as needed for escalation support and capability growth.
• Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines, and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and maintenance goals.
• Provide feedback to enhance individual performance, provide associates with written performance appraisals including disciplinary.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on maintenance activities.
• Provide input and responsibility for maintenance budgets.
