Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facility projects from planning through completion, including new equipment installations and system upgrades.
• Implement and review safety policies and standards, ensuring all activities meet safety protocols.
• Develop a PM program.
• Manage the department budget, prioritizing by urgency and resources.
• Manage, mentor, train, and supervise team members, including personnel decisions and performance.
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for maintenance work.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams and leadership.
• Maintain records using a CMMS like Limble.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective changes.
• Ensure timely inspections and upkeep of company property and systems.
• Keep the department and facilities clean and hygienic, meeting regulations.

Job Details

This is a hands on role focused on project management, including equipment installs and new projects and on leading and developing the maintenance team

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and facility projects from planning through completion, including new equipment installations and system upgrades.
• Implement and review safety policies and standards, ensuring all activities meet or exceed safety protocols.
• Develop a PM program.
• Manage the department budget, prioritizing by urgency and available resources.
• Manage, mentor, train, and supervise team members, including personnel decisions, key metrics, and performance.
• Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for maintenance work.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance tasks and timing with affected teams and other department leadership.
• Maintain records and documentation to all requirements and regulations using a CMMS platform such as Limble.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective changes.
• Ensure timely inspections and upkeep of company property and systems.
• Keep the department, premises, and facilities clean and hygienic, meeting internal and external regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required, engineering strongly preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including equipment installs and capital projects.
• Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical processes in manufacturing, including blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with a CMMS platform, Limble preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an interactive leadership style, with the ability to present to large groups.
• Strong safety and quality mindset.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Effective communicator in verbal, written, and presentation formats with executive leadership, staff, and clients.
• Proactive, with sound judgment and the ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
• Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
