Job summary

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 10 years’ industrial electrical / mechanical experience preferred.
• 3–5 years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication with contractors, service techs (onsite/phone support), and fellow employees.
• Understands various aspects of an industrial facility including structural, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Ability to work additional hours and weekends as necessary to meet business plan objectives.
• Proficient with electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Proficient with mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Fluent with schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & Word is a plus.
• Proficient with industrial trouble shooting skills.
• Experience with Allen Bradley software, Indramat software / drives, Profibus software / drives, and Mitsubishi software / drives.
• Comfortable working independently.

Role Description The Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Carol Stream, IL. This role oversees daily maintenance operations for plant equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating preventive maintenance schedules, directing maintenance and repair activities, and managing a team of maintenance technicians and specialists. The Maintenance Manager monitors equipment performance, troubleshoots issues, collaborates with production and operations to minimize downtime, and maintains accurate maintenance records and documentation. The role also involves managing maintenance budgets, working with vendors and contractors, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment, processes, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years’ industrial electrical / mechanical experience preferred
• A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ supervisory experience preferred

Salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $135,000.00
