About the Role:

The Maintenance Manager directs and coordinates all activities related to the repair and maintenance of production, plant, and support equipment, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.

Reports to: Plant Director

Supervises: Maintenance Supervisors, Planner, MRO Coordinator, and Stores Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage the maintenance department, focusing on equipment reliability and efficiency.
2. Coordinate with outside contractors for plant support equipment maintenance.
3. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, scheduling work and annual rebuilds.
4. Oversee maintenance storeroom activities, maintaining adequate and accurate spare parts inventories.
5. Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring proper utilization.
6. Provide leadership and support to staff, fostering maximum efficiency and productivity.
7. Develop employee skills through training on equipment and processes.
8. Ensure adherence to safe work practices to minimize accidents and injuries.
9. Perform additional duties as required, including interpreting union contracts and company policies.
10. Conduct daily plant inspections and collaborate with production personnel for process improvements.
11. Act as HACCP pre-requisite program developer.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, extended work schedules, and tight time constraints.
• 24-hour responsibility for maintenance operations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrate and promote Ferrero Values and Code of Ethics; advocate for change.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
