Role Summary

This position is responsible for maintenance operations across multiple sites in the Americas. The role focuses on aligning standardized processes, improving maintenance performance, and driving cross-site consistency.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading maintenance across operations with a mix of direct and matrix reporting
• Joint oversight of budgets, cost control, and forecasting in collaboration with site leadership
• Promoting safety, innovation, employee development, and technology integration
• Supporting standardized work execution across maintenance activities, tools, KPIs, and reporting
• Driving operational improvement through strategic planning, training, and performance analysis

Core Duties

• Provide strategic leadership for maintenance planning and execution
• Align processes such as work order coding, scheduling, and RCM/RCFA programs across sites
• Support lifecycle programs and job execution standards
• Partner with training teams to ensure workforce readiness
• Collaborate with leadership to drive alignment and results

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of mining maintenance experience across mobile and fixed plant equipment
• Leadership experience in a prior maintenance management role
• Strong knowledge of CMMS systems and SAP maintenance modules
• Familiarity with high-voltage electrical systems and gearless drive technology
• Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
• Proven team leadership and financial acumen
• Understanding of operational needs and safety compliance (MSHA/OSHA)

Preferred:

• Experience leading electrical-focused capital projects
• Knowledge of employment law and industrial relations
• Training in Six Sigma or Total Quality Management (TQM)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Requirements:

• Role includes travel to multiple domestic and international sites
• May involve working in industrial environments requiring PPE and adherence to safety standards
• Extended travel across the Southwestern U.S. expected
