Job Overview

We are seeking anexperienced and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our team in Charlotte,NC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in planning and settingup machine equipment for our new facility. Additionally, the MaintenanceManager will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensureoptimal performance and longevity of all factory equipment. This role requiresa hands-on approach to managing maintenance operations, ensuring our facilityoperates smoothly and efficiently.

Your Tasks: Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to plan andoversee the installation and setup of machine equipment in the newfacility. Develop and implement a strategic maintenance plan to ensure allequipment operates at peak efficiency. Establish preventive maintenance schedules and procedures tominimize downtime and enhance productivity. Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providingguidance and support to ensure timely and effective maintenanceoperations. Take a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving equipmentissues, ensuring quick and effective solutions. Monitor equipment performance and conduct regular inspections toidentify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specializedmaintenance services when necessary. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipmentperformance, and inventory of spare parts. Ensurecompliance with safety regulations and industry standards in allmaintenance activities.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,or a related field. Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in amanufacturing environment. Experience with maintenanceplanning tools. Familiarity with leanmanufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or Six Sigmamethodologies. Ability to read andinterpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. Strong knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance, repairtechniques, and preventive maintenance practices. Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipmentissues. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and the ability to workcollaboratively with cross-functional teams.
