Maine Course Hospitality Group in Burlington, VT is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety across the property.

You will lead daily operations, coordinate with leaders, manage logs, and ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems function reliably to support guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel maintenance or facilities experience.
• Management experience is required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Strong problem-solving with ability to diagnose and repair various issues.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and guest-focused mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances.
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs.
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems.
• Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance.
• Support cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, and hotel equipment.
• Work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to coordinate repairs and prioritize tasks; maintain logs, reports, and documentation of completed work.
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools, parts, or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and local/state regulations.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills and a guest‑focused mindset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor as needed
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or evenings
• EPA or other maintenance certifications are a plus but not required
