Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations by completing repairs and preventive maintenance, ensuring HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems run smoothly. Qualifications

• Prior maintenance, building operations, or facilities experience preferred (hotel context a plus).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and repair diverse issues.
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances.
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs.
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems.
• Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance.
• Support cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, and hotel equipment.
• Coordinate repairs with General Manager and department leaders; prioritize tasks.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of completed work.
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools, parts, or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and local/state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, building operations, or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)


• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems


• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues


• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks


• Strong communication skills and a guest‑focused mindset


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor as needed


• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or evenings


• EPA or other maintenance certifications are a plus but not required
