The Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance operations to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant facility performance. This role is accountable for departmental success across financial, operational, personnel, and regulatory metrics. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets in line with P&L goals.
• Supervise and direct the Maintenance team, setting priorities and workflow.
• Lead preventive maintenance and equipment upgrade programs.
• Oversee equipment installations, retrofits, and related training.
• Negotiate vendor quotes, manage projects, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain parts inventory and cost controls for equipment and facility maintenance.
• Hire, train, and manage Maintenance staff.
• Monitor energy usage and support regulatory compliance, including wastewater treatment systems (DAF, SBR, EQ, Centrifuge).
• Use CMMS software to manage maintenance activities.
• Promote continuous improvement through 5S methodology.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain consistent attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in plant maintenance; food packaging/processing preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting CAD plans and managing mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, PLC, pneumatic, hydraulic, industrial electrical, plumbing, welding).
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Experience managing a team of 10–20 personnel.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and weekends as needed.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in maintenance, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
