The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance operations and personnel for our Bainbridge, GA facility, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.

Responsibilities include leading the team, preventive maintenance, reliability improvements, procurement and vendor management, and collaboration with Production, Quality, Sanitation, Purchasing, and Engineering to support capital projects and safe operations.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, machine fabrication, PLC systems and safety codes.

Description

The Maintenance Manager oversees maintenance operations and personnel for our Bainbridge, GA facility, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.

Functions of the Position

Lead, develop, and manage the maintenance team while overseeing preventive maintenance, repairs, and maintenance inventory.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Manage maintenance-related procurement, vendor relationships, and external service providers.

Partner with Production, Quality, Sanitation, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to support maintenance priorities, capital projects, equipment installations, and operational needs.

Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
• Technical education or specialized training in electronics, automation, and PLC programming preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance leadership experience within a food manufacturing environment, including direct supervisory responsibility.
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, machine fabrication, PLC systems, and applicable building and safety codes.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), maintenance planning software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership, team development, and employee performance management skills.
• Excellent decision-making, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with Production, Quality, Sanitation, Engineering, and Purchasing teams.

The starting salary range for this position is $99,527-$136,850. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives subject to the terms of the underlying plan.
