Description

We seek a dynamic, organized self-starter to be a Regional Manager (RM) of Facilities Maintenance in our engineering team. The team includes two other RMs and reports to the Facilities Maintenance Director. The primary responsibility is to maximize equipment uptime, execute maintenance, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced subject matter expert in facilities maintenance, workplace safety, and data-driven management. Experience with MHE systems, automation, distribution, and storage systems is a plus. The candidate must be a self-starter, able to manage multiple projects, influence others, and develop relationships across the organization. Oversight of commissioning large-scale projects and technical leadership are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and management of Facilities Managers.
  • Drive maintenance best practices, safety, and process improvements.
  • Advise leadership on maintenance issues using ROI and analytics.
  • Oversee budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor maintenance activities, enforce safety, and conduct training.
  • Develop and manage budgets and contracts, including RFPs and invoicing.
  • Support FC General Managers with facilities management insights.
  • Recruit and hire top talent for facilities roles.
  • Contribute to building a world-class facilities maintenance organization.
  • Willingness to relocate as needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • BSc in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience managing 250+ employees.
  • Experience leading change across multiple sites.
  • 7+ years managing employee performance.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication, team-building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data analysis and process development skills.
  • Experience with MHE, Lean, TOC, safety, and ergonomic factors.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, SQL.
  • Masters or Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus.
  • Professional Engineering registration advantageous.
