Job summary

Florida Department of Transportation seeks a MMS/RCI Coordinator to analyze complex plans and supervise inspection and monitoring of state Right of Way maintenance activities. The role involves coordinating maintenance programs, ensuring safety protocols, and reporting on performance metrics.

Successful candidates will review crew performance, prepare technical graphs and reports, and act as a computer lead for the unit, supporting mainframe operations and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance management system policies and procedures.
• Safe work practices and procedures.
• Ability to plan, prepare, and present information to a large group using PowerPoint.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other work groups.

Responsibilities

• Review performance with Field Supervisors and Maintenance Manager and adjust as needed for unforeseen circumstances.
• Prepare graphs and reports for special projects (e.g., overtime, annual resource plan).
• Coordinate and direct maintenance activity of the chemical herbicide program.
• Perform work according to the Maintenance Management Manual’s standards.
• Update the roadway characteristics inventory and records in the system.
• Serve as unit safety representative and document safety procedures and incidents.
