Job summary

Price Brothers Management Company in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Make-Ready Technician to join our residential properties team. This full-time role offers hourly pay between $17.00 and $20.00 plus commission, with emphasis on preparing units for occupancy and timely work order completion.

Candidates should have about one year of multi-family maintenance experience, be proficient with basic electrical, plumbing and appliance repairs, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of multi-family maintenance experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license (state requirements).
• Ability to use tools to prepare units for occupancy per company standards.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Prior knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Complete Make-Ready apartment maintenance in an accurate and timely manner.
• Complete assigned work orders in compliance with company standard.
• Assist with building and common area maintenance.
• Participate in Preventative Maintenance Program and assist with organizing and tracking of property equipment.

Salary Range: $17-$20 hourly plus commission (varies depending on experience and property location)

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Make-Ready apartment maintenance in an accurate and timely manner
• Complete assigned work orders in compliance with company standard
• Assist with building and common area maintenance
• Participate in Preventative Maintenance Program and assist with organizing and tracking of property equipment

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• 1 year of multi- family maintenance experience (preferred)
• Ability to use tools necessary to prepare units for occupancy per company standards
• Knowledge of general maintenance(i.e. electrical, plumbing and appliance repair)
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
• Prior knowledge of various building codes

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver license and any other licenses/certifications required by the state
