Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance, machining, or related mechanical field.
• Hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with lathes, mills, drill presses, surface grinders.
• Ability to read mechanical prints and specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Willing to complete required training to operate PIV equipment (forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled, emergency, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to restore operations safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical problems, complete repairs, and identify root causes to prevent recurring failures.
• Operate lathes, mills, drill presses, surface grinders, welders, and other machine shop equipment.
• Fabricate, refurbish, or duplicate mechanical parts as needed to support equipment repairs.
• Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other inspection tools.
• Communicate findings and recommended corrective actions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Complete general maintenance duties, training, and other assignments as directed.
