Job summary

Accelera in California's Central Valley is seeking a Maintenance Manual Machinist/Fabricator to perform fabrication, equipment repairs, and routine maintenance in a hands-on role.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, design parts for production lines, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to keep operations safe and productive.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in metal fabrication, manual machining, pipe fitting, and welding.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.
• Experience with shop machinery such as grinders, band saws, mills, lathes.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate or restore machine parts using mills, lathes, and drill presses.
• Weld with TIG, MIG, and stick; cut and assemble metal components.
• Maintain and diagnose mechanical systems, facility infrastructure, and production equipment.
• Create custom tooling and safety guards to improve efficiency.
• Support preventive maintenance and document inspections.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering to resolve issues.
• Support basic electrical tasks and carpentry.
• Keep workspace clean and safe.
