Job summary

Arrowhead Engineered Products is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician I/II to safely operate and troubleshoot a range of industrial equipment. The role encompasses thermoforming machinery, CNC mills, machining tools, and associated systems, with focus on quality control and proactive maintenance.

The position may require maintenance of building infrastructure, welding, electrical work, and parts inventory.

Qualifications

• OSHA safety awareness is required.
• Able to read blueprints, electrical diagrams and operation manuals.
• Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• 5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to use precision instruments and read schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotary and inline thermoforming machines.
• Operate CNC 3 and 5 axis mills and routers.
• Operate large metal shears and benders.
• Operate compressors, chillers, vacuum pumps and industrial vehicles.
• Perform quality control inspections.

Summary

2.0 Job Responsibilities:

• Rotary and inline thermoforming machines

Other Duties May Include

• Building and infrastructure maintenance and repair
• Basic welding

• Parts research, ordering and inventory Responsible for machine operations and quality control/inspections.

Machine Maintenance Technician I And II

The levels of I and II are determined by the amount of skill and ability of the operator. Level I can perform general work on equipment. Level II troubleshoots PLC programs to resolve problems and ensure the functionality of systems. Level II can create and review PLC documentation, such as schematics, programming procedures and testing procedures using ladder logic and structured text to control various industrial machine processes.

Education And Qualifications

• Ability to identify OSHA safety violations.
• Read blueprints, electrical diagrams and operation manuals.
• Understands the principals of 5s and lean manufacturing.
• 5 years of related equipment maintenance and repair.
• Ability to use precision instruments and read schematics and diagrams.
• Mechanical or trade school certificate preferred.

Welding And/or Fabrication Skills And/or Experience Preferred.

• Must furnish own tools.
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently throughout the day and up to 50 lbs. infrequently throughout the day.

Must be able to stand 100% of the day.
