Job summary

E.A.-Sween- in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of mechanics across two facilities. You will drive a proactive maintenance program, apply predictive and preventive maintenance, and partner with operations to improve machine uptime and safety.

You will manage budgets, oversee vendor contracts, and develop KPI-driven improvements using CMMS tools such as Asset Essentials and Redzone. A BS in Engineering with 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of hands-on maintenance leadership experience, leading a team and executing maintenance initiatives.
• Manufacturing industry experience required - Food industry experience strongly preferred.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Budget creation and management experience.
• Proficient knowledge of food manufacturing, food safety, FDA/USDA, and OSHA.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze complex processes, synthesize data and results, and drive toward insight and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of mechanics and support personnel across 2 facilities.
• Implement preventive/predictive maintenance framework and oversee maintenance planning and work orders.
• Maximize maintenance efficiency, troubleshoot, and conduct root-cause investigations with countermeasures.
• Oversee maintenance contracts and vendor relations.
• Develop department KPIs and use CMMS data to improve safety, reliability, productivity and quality.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and development to 17–20 maintenance staff; hire and train as needed.
• Own and manage the maintenance budget and support capital projects.
• Participate in safety programs and enforce food safety and regulatory policies.
