Job summary

The Barrington of Carmel, a BHI Community, seeks a Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee daily maintenance, preventive upkeep, and renovations in a senior living setting. You will guide technicians, coordinate schedules, and liaise with vendors to ensure timely, high-quality work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of maintenance/facilities experience or technical training.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or structural issues and communicate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and renovations.
• Monitor and prioritize work orders based on urgency and resident needs.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support and guidance to technicians.
• Coordinate schedules, delegate tasks, and train staff.
• Work with vendors/contractors for specialized needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment in the community.
