Job summary

Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet in South Florida is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead Technician to oversee our facility’s mechanical systems, troubleshoot HVAC and electrical issues, and lead the maintenance team. You will manage daily work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and coordination with outside vendors.

The ideal candidate holds EPA Universal Certification, 5+ years in commercial/industrial maintenance, 2+ years in a supervisory role, the ability to read blueprints and wiring

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification (Required).
• HVAC Certification preferred (or equivalent HVAC training).
• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial maintenance experience.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the maintenance team while promoting a safe and productive environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, and building maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage daily work orders and maintenance priorities.
• Coordinate outside vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Inspect facilities and recommend repairs or improvements.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
