Job summary

Qualifications

• At least three years of commercial HVAC maintenance, service or repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose equipment problems and determine corrective action.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, controls, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
• Proficiency with tools and safety practices when handling HVAC diagnostics.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• EPA 608 certification is required; universal preferred.
• Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
• Residence in South Florida or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose airflow, temperature control, refrigerant, and electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Troubleshoot HVAC controls, thermostats, sensors, relays, and control boards.
• Read schematics and manuals to guide maintenance and repairs.
• Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection as required.
• Complete preventive maintenance and document work accurately.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
• Support other facility maintenance and coordination with departments.
