Job description

• Troubleshoot using working knowledge of PLCs, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Perform plumbing and pipefitting duties as required on plant piping, such as water, air, gas, and chemical lines.
• Operate and repair all process equipment electrically and mechanically.
• Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
• Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.
• Weld and fabricates as necessary for repairing projects.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of buildings.
• Communicate with the management team, production team, and logistic team.
• Participates in continuous improvement regarding safety, quality, and housekeeping.
• Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
• Perform various inspections on safety equipment.
• Requisitions material, parts, and tools
• Coordinates the scheduling of repairs or equipment service with management team and production schedule.
• Actively participates in adhering to plant housekeeping requirements by picking up trash, sweeping work areas, and returning materials and equipment to their proper location.
• Reads and comprehends instructions regarding new equipment, equipment changes and/or procedural changes.
• Other tasks are determined by management.
• Plan outages and other maintenance tasks.
