Job summary

Meetinghouse at Riverfront in Manchester, NH seeks a hands-on Maintenance professional to upkeep an independent-living community. You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and preventative maintenance, ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

The role is full-time and salaried, Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities for emergencies. Strong resident-facing skills and teamwork required; prior senior living or hotel maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible maintenance department experience.
• Technical skills in basic electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, general repairs, HVAC, appliance repair and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high degree of resident, family and guest satisfaction and retention through high-quality services.
• Actively participate in monthly resident meetings and address feedback.
• Partner with sales to meet move-in goals and ensure rent readiness.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and leaders.
• Maintain a positive image and an atmosphere of stability.
• Perform minor repairs to machines and equipment.
