Job summary

General Mills in Cincinnati is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who leads frontline maintenance teams and drives safety and reliability improvements. The role focuses on data-driven problem solving, defect handling, and asset care across the platform.

You will guide daily management, performance metrics, and the 90-Day plan to eliminate losses while coordinating with maintenance planning and scheduling to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in a highly collaborative environment.
• Proven success reducing losses and improving performance in manufacturing.
• Strong communication across work groups and cross-functional teams.
• Foundational knowledge of data analysis and maintenance systems (SAP, Maximo, Manufacturing Analytics, MQIS).
• Experience in maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of craft duties and capabilities; practical knowledge of Maxino and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and cultivate a human safety culture.
• Direct maintenance mechanics, manage staffing and performance.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly DDS meetings and metrics.
• Own maintenance foundational systems and defect handling processes.
• Prioritize work to address top losses and breakdowns; manage budgets.
• Understand production systems and data to drive decisions.
