Job summary

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in maintenance or related fields.
• Three years supervisory experience with overseeing work crews and apartment turnovers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Identify and manage vendor selection and oversight of vendor work, including getting and reviewing bids.
• Perform and oversee repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance maintenance.
• Prepare units for move-ins, move-outs, and annual inspections; maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure cleanliness of common areas and assist with custodial duties as needed.
• Manage inventory, equipment, and supply procurement; maintain manuals and parts lists.
• Coordinate contractor work, bids, and ensure compliance with safety, Fair Housing, and company standards.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs and monitor property conditions for safety and upkeep.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency coverage and complete required certifications and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned
