Job summary

Columbia Housing is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate with property operations management, oversee maintenance tasks and staff, and ensure high-quality service across CH facilities and grounds.

The role requires overseeing training, reviewing performance, managing budgets and safety, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to keep assets in good condition and compliant with UPCS guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of six years of experience in maintenance or construction.
• Minimum three years of managerial or supervisory experience in maintenance/construction or contracting.
• Regular driving is required and a valid driver's license is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance staff and provides supervision including planning, assigning, and evaluating work.
• Develops operating procedures and controls for maintenance operations.
• Monitors preventive maintenance programs and schedules for CH fleet.
• Reviews materials, inventories and prepares tracking reports; approves requisitions.
• Assesses need for projects; coordinates with vendors or internal staff for cost-effective completion.
• Ensures safety compliance and oversees on-site safety of maintenance staff.
• Coordinates training and on-the-job instruction for maintenance personnel.
• Oversees UPCS training and compliance, and manages property renovations as needed.
• Maintains asset records, budgets, and ensures timely response to service requests.
