Apex Tool Group in Apex, NC is seeking a Maintenance Lead to coordinate maintenance activities, prioritise preventive maintenance, and resolve equipment issues.

As a working lead, you will assign work, provide technical guidance, and coach technicians, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves hands-on maintenance and CMMS work orders to support continuous improvement and reliability.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or automated warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and maintenance planning processes.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft 365 applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team.
• Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of conveyors, sortation systems, material handling equipment, dock equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure.
• Work with Operations and Facilities leadership to schedule maintenance activities and support business needs.
• Report equipment failures, safety concerns, and maintenance performance metrics to management.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with established procedures.
• Manage work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work areas.
• Participate in after-hours support as required.
• Perform hands-on maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
