Job summary

Archer Meat Snacks in Vernon, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor on 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM) to lead a hands-on maintenance team. The role offers a salary of $95,000 to $105,000 annually plus bonus, with on-site leadership at the Vernon facility.

You will drive preventive maintenance, reduce downtime, and partner with Plant Leadership to improve machine performance and plant efficiency while promoting safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting for industrial equipment.
• Experience leading preventive maintenance programs.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and application.
• Leadership, coaching, and team management experience.
• Spanish bilingual capability is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians through coaching and training.
• Drive preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and compliance.
• Partner with Plant Leadership to boost machine performance and efficiency.
• Apply Lean principles to optimize maintenance processes and plant results.
• Monitor equipment performance, PM schedules, uptime, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality to support daily operations.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Use data to improve run speeds and reduce changeover times.
• Foster safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement culture.
