Job summary

Carlisle Company is a leader in Building Envelope Systems®, managing the flow of water, vapor, air, and energy from foundation to roof. The Maintenance Lead role provides hands‑on leadership for maintenance operations, coordinating technicians and improving reliability to support safe, continuous production.

The position requires strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, plus experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical (480V, motor controls, VFDs), pneumatic, hydraulic, and material handling systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians.
• Prioritize and assign maintenance work to support production requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment.
• Support and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Hold team members accountable for safety, work quality, PM completion, housekeeping, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within the CMMS system.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety programs, including LOTO, confined space, and hot work procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
