Job summary

Chamberlain International School in Middleborough, MA is seeking a General Building & Property Maintenance professional to join our team. This full-time role supports maintenance tasks, grounds work, and general repairs, with a focus on reliable service to staff, students, and visitors.

The position requires lifting up to 100 lbs, weekend work availability, and a CORI background check. Competitive pay starts at $22/hour, with standard day shifts, in-person work at our Middleboro location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Maintain self in good physical condition with the ability to lift at least 100 lbs.
• Self-starter, team player and results oriented performer.
• Must be able to work weekends and potentially some weekday nights in an emergency situation.
• Minimum of a year of related experience within the trades or facility maintenance.
• Ability to perform minor to average difficulty repairs.
• Ability to stand, walk, crouch intermittently; climb ladders.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to all staff, students and visitors.
• Pass a Background / CORI check.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• General home maintenance, basic carpentry, painting and construction knowledge.
• General home maintenance repair; seasonal grounds maintenance: flowers, weeding, leaf cleanup.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
