Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Willingness to perform general maintenance tasks and basic labor.

Responsibilities

• Accurately orders and accounts for material and labor relative to assigned work orders.
• Maintains safety and code requirements of the State, local and Board of Education.
• Performs general maintenance work inside the facilities and outside the physical plant.
• Handles moving equipment, operates power-driven equipment and drives a truck as needed.
• Performs district-wide groundskeeping maintenance such as mowing and plowing.
• Recommends supplies and equipment for purchase and maintains inventory of tools and supplies.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
