Job Description

Clow's Metal Casting Facility has an opening for a Maintenance Laborer.

2nd Shift Position

Starting Wage: $23.03

$500 Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Vacuuming & shoveling excess sand in hard-to-reach areas.
2. Assisting maintenance department in other facets of the Metal Casting Facility.
3. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
4. Following lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and carry less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting up to 90 times per hour.
• Standing and walking for 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to move the neck forward/back and turn right/left, kneel, squat, and climb using arms and legs.
• Repetitive use of both hands and fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, and utilize tools.
• Work in extreme temperature conditions inside and outside, including slippery, uneven, and unstable surfaces.
• Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust and fumes, and operate cranes, trucks, forklifts, and other moving vehicles.
• Wear applicable PPE such as safety glasses, metatarsal-guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding masks, etc.
• Recognize and safely utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools.
