Greater Omaha Packing Co. is seeking a maintenance-focused candidate to support production lines and facilities. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, floor setup for production, and readiness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced meat processing environment.

The position requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and tolerance for both cold and hot conditions. Good communication and basic computer skills are a plus to complete PMs and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Complete Preventive Maintenance for assigned area (and others as needed).
• Set up the floor in preparation for production in assigned areas.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and take initiative on the job.
• Follow orders even under high-stress situations to prevent downtime.
• Some experience with computers to complete PMs, work orders and training.
