Job summary

RHF is seeking a dependable Maintenance/Janitorial Team Member to support Marymount Manor in Tacoma, WA, and Pinewood Manor in Bremerton, WA. This full-time, non-exempt role covers cleaning, routine maintenance, turnovers, and preventative tasks across two properties about 30+ miles apart.

The candidate must have 2+ years in maintenance, hands-on skills with tools, and the ability to travel between sites as needed. Excellent communication and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial duties in common areas to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist with general maintenance, respond to service requests, and support apartment turnovers.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Assist with inspections and enter work orders into the system.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure safety protocols and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and internal stakeholders.
