Job summary

Diligent Robotics in Austin, TX is seeking an Inventory & Maintenance Planner to orchestrate preventive maintenance planning for the fleet and manage spare parts at HQ.

You will split your week between planning PM work orders, stocking and shipping kits, and coordinating with field technicians to keep robots running in hospitals nationwide.

This role requires on-site work five days a week, attention to BOMs and cycle counts, and careful vendor RMAs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in storeroom, warehouse, or inventory control roles.
• Experience with inventory or work-order systems (CMMS/ERP/WMS).
• Ability to read BOMs and discuss components with technicians.
• Strong record-keeping and detail orientation.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule by robot and site.
• Scope work orders with steps, labor, parts, tools, and access notes.
• Build parts and tool lists and confirm availability before release.
• Track work orders from open to overdue and flag risks.
• Maintain templates, part numbers, and BOMs.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts and consumables.
• Maintain accurate on-hand counts and run cycle counts.
• Set min/max levels and raise reorder requests.
• Kit parts and ship to sites or field techs with tracking.
• Process returns and update inventory in the system.
• Keep depot organized and maintain ESD practices.
• Flag slow-moving or obsolete stock for review.
• Coordinate daily with field technicians on needs.
