job purpose:
This position is responsible for managing inventory control within the maintenance storeroom, including receiving, storing, and issuing parts to support maintenance work orders. The role ensures accurate inventory tracking through daily cycle counts using the maintenance inventory system (MVP) and supporting spreadsheets and maintains proper inventory levels and bin organization. This position also oversees purchase order receipts, performs basic inventory and receiving calculations, and continuously improves the organization and layout of the storeroom and maintenance areas to ensure a clean, orderly, and efficient operation.
