Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to support plants and purchasing of maintenance materials by monitoring and maintaining the VMI inventory level. You will track assets, run inventory reports, and coordinate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.

The role requires at least one year in inventory control, proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook, and bilingual English/Spanish reading and writing. Base pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, with benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of internal controls and company procedures.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (reading and writing).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and track all facility assets.
• Run inventory and generate reports; answer inventory questions.
• Communicate with vendor contacts and coordinate their needs.
• Investigate discrepancies and report to maintenance supervisor and vendors.
• Handle vendor issues tactfully.
• Maintain vendor price maintenance tables.
• Understand and use MaintainX reports; follow up on work orders.
• Prepare various reports and correspondence.
• Share backup maintenance coordinator duties.
• Participate in safety and Good Catch program.
• Assist in special projects with lead.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator is responsible for assisting the plants and purchasing of maintenance materials by monitoring, managing, and maintaining the overall VMI inventory level.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and track all facility assets.
• Know our system inside and out so you can run any inventory and receive reports available and answer inventory questions that come up.
• Handle most communication with specific vendor contacts and facilitate their needs.
• Investigate any inventory discrepancies and communicate the issue with maintenance supervisor and vendors.
• Handle vendor issues tactfully and respectfully
• Maintain vendor price maintenance tables
• Understand and uphold MaintainX reports and follow up with work orders.
• Prepare various reports and correspondence as required
• Share backup maintenance coordinator duties
• Must participate in safety and "Good Catch" program.
• Assists in assigned special projects with lead.
• Performs other duties as required and directed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree
• Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area
• Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures
• Working knowledge in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Preferred understanding of company policies, practices, and procedures
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish), including reading and writing.

Starting Base Pay: $20.00 - $22.00, dependent upon experience.
