Job summary

AISIN Electronics Illinois, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Intern to learn hands-on troubleshooting, equipment repair and industrial maintenance from experienced technicians. You will support production equipment reliability and manufacturing operations while gaining exposure to maintenance best practices and safety procedures.

You will assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, root-cause investigations, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/certification in related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Manufacturing, automotive, or electronics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Support equipment repairs and troubleshooting efforts.
• Learn mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance techniques.
• Participate in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects.
• Assist with equipment inspections, maintenance documentation, and repair records.
• Support spare parts inventory and maintenance organization efforts.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Intern, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to support production equipment reliability and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Supporting equipment repairs and troubleshooting efforts
• Learning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance techniques
• Participating in root cause investigations and continuous improvement projects
• Assisting with equipment inspections, maintenance documentation, and repair records
• Supporting spare parts inventory and maintenance organization efforts
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Gaining exposure to industrial equipment, manufacturing processes, and maintenance best practices
