Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to support preventive and reliability-focused activities at our plants. You will help develop maintenance plans, inspect equipment, and influence life-cycle improvements for conveyors, mills, and kilns.

The role is field-intensive, requiring heavy lifting, exposure to harsh conditions, and collaboration with engineers to analyze data and drive maintenance excellence.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in a heavy industrial environment; maintenance training is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment such as Belt Conveyors, Ball Mills and Kilns.
• Must spend 75% of the workday in the field around industrial equipment.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance engineer in developing preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance plans.
• Inspect equipment thoroughly and write work requests for repairs.
• Ensure lubrication, cleaning, and part changes are completed to prevent deterioration.
• Provide technical support for major and specialized maintenance jobs.
• Collaborate to improve equipment reliability and maintenance procedures.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and in planning major shutdown work.
• Train maintenance personnel and promote ongoing technical development.
