Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5-7 years in a heavy industrial environment; Maintenance training is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment such as Belt Conveyors, Ball Mills and Kilns is helpful.
• Heavy Mechanical Background and understanding of machinery required.
• Strong Computer skills are required along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
• Must be able to spend 75% of the workday in the field in and around industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance engineer in developing preventive, predictive and autonomous maintenance plans for equipment from start-up through life cycle.
• Inspect equipment, write work requests for defects, and suggest repairs for the maintenance team.
• Ensure inspection, lubrication, cleaning and parts replacement activities are completed to prevent deterioration or shutdowns.
• Provide technical support and follow-up to major and highly specialized maintenance jobs.
• Assure all planned maintenance and operation tasks are executed as specified and quality is maintained.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify improvements in sampling points and reliability.
