Polaris Inc. in Roseau, MN is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to uphold safe, efficient operations and drive continuous improvement. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair equipment, and work from OEM drawings, with a focus on reliability and productivity.

The role requires 2–4 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, metalworking and welding skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Overtime and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out assignments as directed by the Maintenance Work Order System.
• Document and update maintenance work orders in the system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Follow safety, conduct, and housekeeping policies to protect assets.
• Modify equipment and systems as needed and maintain standards.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area per standards.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and staff on productivity improvements.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Maintenance Mechanic 3rd Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out specific assignments as directed by the Maintenance Work Order System.
• Document and update all maintenance work orders completed Maintenance Work Order System.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to assure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
• Perform all duties in compliance with facility policies, rules, and regulations on safety, conduct, and housekeeping.
• Protects the Company's investments in machinery, equipment, and facilities by exercising care, skill, & knowledge.
• Make required alterations / modifications to equipment and systems.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining maintenance standards and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area in compliance with 5-Pillar Standards.
• Partner with facility leadership, engineering and employees to develop, execute and maintain productivity and process improvements
• Perform special projects as assigned

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

• High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Technical degree in mechanical maintenance preferred.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2-4 years previous maintenance experience.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Metal working experience is a requirement (including welding and fabrication skills).
• Must have the ability to read and interpret design drawings and tooling prints.
• Knowledge of OSHA/safety guidelines, procedures and policies related to maintenance and repair (such as Lock Out/Tag Out, OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour training).
• Availability and willingness to work overtime as required; "on-call" duty is required Ability to work well with little supervision.
• EAM experience / Computer skills

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Fast- paced environment
• Occasional weekend / holiday work required.

Base Pay Range

$24.84 - $29.68
