Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Guntersville, AL is seeking an hourly maintenance team member to join a high‑performing production environment. You’ll construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, read drawings, and respond to machine issues to keep operations running smoothly.

We require 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work rotating days, weekends, and shifts. Pilgrim’s offers benefits after 60 days, PTO, 401(k) matching, and ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments.
• Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery.
• Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues are identified.
• Communicate with production management to diagnose problems and determine potential issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
• Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments
• Interpret drawings of equipment in order to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery
• Respond to requests by production area when mechanical issues with equipment have been identified
• Communicate with production management and personnel to diagnose problems and to determine potential mechanical problems
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency, in regards to time as well as resources
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment
• General mathematic ability required to perform job
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings
• Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures
• Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including weekends)
• Ability to live 50 lbs. Or more
