Pilgrim's in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain the reliability and safety of our production equipment. This hourly role requires 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED.

You will read drawings, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance across shifts, including weekends. Base pay ranges from $20.25 to $33.00 per hour with a $1 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts; benefits begin after 60 days, and

Maintenance Technician (Hourly)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and test mechanical equipment, machinery, and components.
• Identify parts and equipment requiring repair or replacement.
• Utilize shop mathematics to complete maintenance assignments accurately.
• Read and interpret equipment drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Respond promptly to production issues involving mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with production management and team members to diagnose and resolve equipment problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Complete assigned work efficiently while managing time and resources effectively.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, and quality standards.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred

• Experience: Maintenance experience required; minimum of 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems; General math skills required to perform maintenance duties; Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, schematics; Basic knowledge of standard and metric measurements; Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends as needed; Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Physical requirements: Ability to work in extreme Cold/Hot temperatures, ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day and lift 50 bs or more.
