Genesis HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our nursing centers safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will perform minor repairs, assist with grounds upkeep, and support the maintenance supervisor when needed.

This role offers hands-on work in a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth within our health-care network.

The posted pay ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, with benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent is required.
Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
Willingness to perform maintenance tasks and repairs.

Responsibilities

Maintain nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, electrical equipment, and safety systems.
Change filters on HVAC equipment and stock supplies.
Assist in covering maintenance supervisor duties when absent.
