Job summary

Genesis Healthcare in Montgomeryville, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep the nursing center and grounds clean, safe, and orderly while maintaining a pleasing appearance.

You will perform minor repairs, change HVAC filters, lift and stock supplies, and may assume supervisor duties in the absence, with opportunities for growth and a robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.
