Genesis Healthcare in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep the nursing center and grounds clean, safe, and orderly, with a pleasing appearance.

Join a collaborative team focused on quality care and community well‑being. Duties include minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, and electrical equipment; changing HVAC filters; carrying and stocking supplies; and assuming Maintenance supervisor responsibilities in their absence.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri‑chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Change filters on HVAC equipment
• Carry, lift and stock supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri‑chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Change filters on HVAC equipment
• Carry, lift and stock supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence
