Job summary

ExactHire is seeking a maintenance technician for full-time work in a hands-on role. You will assist with maintenance, parts replacement, and repair of vehicles, industrial machinery, and electrical equipment.

The job requires coordinating with team members, following safety procedures, and ensuring tools and materials are available for efficient operation. You will work a regular Monday–Friday schedule and perform routine system checks to prevent downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent production maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Talks to others to convey information effectively.
• Observes gauges, dials, or indicators to ensure proper machine operation.
• Performs routine maintenance and determines when maintenance is needed.
• Repairs machines or systems using appropriate tools.
• Diagnoses operating errors and decides corrective actions.
• Controls operations of equipment or systems.
• Transfers tools and supplies between work stations.
• Disassembles and reassembles equipment for repair.
• Installs or replaces machinery parts using hand/power tools.
• Considers costs and benefits to choose the best action.
• Assesses how system changes impact outcomes.
• Examines machinery for defects to ensure proper function.
• Prepares work stations for mechanics/repairers.
