Genesis Administrative Services LLC in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine repairs and support a team caring for residents. The role involves hands-on work on handrails, HVAC filters, and common facility equipment to ensure safety and comfort.

You will respond to maintenance needs, stock supplies, and may assume Maintenance supervisor responsibilities in their absence. A high school diploma and basic wiring, plumbing and carpentry knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic wiring, plumbing and carpentry knowledge.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and assist with facility repairs.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
