The role involves various maintenance tasks, from minor repairs to cleaning tasks that ensure safety and order. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with basic knowledge in wiring, plumbing, and carpentry.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, along with various benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, among others.

Responsibilities

• Complete various maintenance tasks to keep the nursing center and grounds orderly.
• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, and electrical equipment.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift, and stock supplies.
• Assume responsibilities of maintenance supervisor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.
• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment.
• Carry, lift and stock supplies.
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
